By downloading or using Memory Lab, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They explain the free trial, the free version, the paid options, what you can do with the app, and the limits of our responsibility.

1. The app and your license

Memory Lab is a personal memorization tool. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple's standard End User License Agreement, which applies to this app.

2. Your content

You may import or paste your own texts and scripts to memorize. You keep all rights to your content, and it stays on your device. We never receive it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any material you import, and you agree not to use the app to store or reproduce content in a way that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.

3. Free trial and the free version

For the first 3 days after you first open the app, every feature is open at no charge and with no payment details required. During this period you can create up to 5 math flashcard documents.

After that, the free version is for reading: you can open and read every document that comes with the app, on all three levels, and read any documents you made earlier. Every other feature, including listening, typing, recording, tests, creating or editing documents, and importing, asks for a plan or a purchase.

4. Plans and purchases

All purchases are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system using your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details. Memory Lab has no accounts and no server; your study data stays on your device.

• Weekly Access ($6.99 per week) and Yearly Access ($34.99 per year): auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock everything while active. Each comes with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers; you are eligible for one free trial across these plans.
• Lifetime ($99.99): a one-time purchase that unlocks everything forever. It is not a subscription and never renews.
• Single Document Pass ($9.99): a one-time consumable purchase that unlocks one document of your choosing.
• Language modules ($4.99 each): one-time purchases that each unlock a full language deck collection. They are separate from the plans above. The Kindergarten deck in each language is free, and a free trial lets you study up to 20 cards a day from the other decks before you buy.
• Prices: the exact price and, for subscriptions, the billing period are shown on the purchase screen inside the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Prices may vary by country.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Free trials and auto-renewal: if you start a free trial, your Apple ID account is charged the plan price when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), not inside the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Restore Purchases: tapping Restore Purchases restores subscriptions, the Lifetime purchase, and language modules on any device signed in with the same Apple ID. The Single Document Pass is a consumable: it applies once, to the document you choose, and it is not restorable after a device wipe or a change of Apple ID. This is by design.
• Refunds: all purchases are final except as required by law; refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the app, except where the law permits;
• use the app for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others' rights;
• resell, redistribute, or sublicense the app.

6. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet a specific memorization outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Because your content is stored only on your device, we strongly recommend keeping your device backups enabled; we are not responsible for content lost from your device.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will revise the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
