Terms of Service

Last updated: July 29, 2026

By downloading or using Memory Lab, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They explain the free tier, the paid options, what you can do with the app, and the limits of our responsibility.

1. The app and your license

Memory Lab is a personal memorization tool. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple's standard End User License Agreement, which applies to this app.

2. Your content

You may import or paste your own texts and scripts to memorize. You keep all rights to your content, and it stays on your device. We never receive it. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any material you import, and you agree not to use the app to store or reproduce content in a way that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.

3. Free tier, purchases, and subscriptions

Memory Lab includes a free tier and offers paid upgrades. All purchases are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system using your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details. Memory Lab has no accounts and no server; your study data stays on your device.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet a specific memorization outcome.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Because your content is stored only on your device, we strongly recommend keeping your device backups enabled; we are not responsible for content lost from your device.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will revise the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
